Learn your cycle from the inside out
A four-week group course in fertility awareness. Charting technique, anatomy and physiology, and the nutrition and integration practices that turn what you learn into a daily way of caring for your body.
Sundays in June 2026
Most women were taught what a period is. Almost no one was taught what a cycle is.
You were told when to expect your period and how to manage it. But no one sat down and explained the full picture: how cervical fluid changes through the month, what basal body temperature reveals about ovulation, why the luteal phase matters, or what your cycle is actually communicating about your health.
That gap is not your fault. It is structural. Menstrual cycle education has been absent from classrooms, clinics, and conversations for decades. And while apps have made it easy to record data, recording is not understanding.
This course exists to fill that gap. Not with a quick tutorial on charting, but with a full education in the body you live in. The technique of fertility awareness, the charting practice itself, the anatomy and physiology underneath it, and the nutrition that supports your cycle, all woven together into something you can carry forward. Four weeks of live group learning, followed by two private sessions with Julianna so the knowledge becomes a practice.
What you will learn
Each week builds on the last. By the end, you will have both the knowledge and the daily practice.
Technique
The foundations of the sympto-thermal method. The single check approach to cervical fluid. How to take a basal body temperature accurately. The daily observation practice that the rest of the course is built on. By the end of week one, you will know how to gather the data your body produces.
Charting
What to do with the observations once you have them. How to record them on a chart, how to read what is in front of you, how to identify the fertile window, and how to interpret the patterns that emerge over a cycle. This is the week the technique becomes a literacy.
Anatomy and physiology
What is happening in your body to produce the patterns on your chart. Reproductive anatomy from the ground up. The hormonal cascade that drives each cycle phase. How the ovarian, uterine, and cervical fluid cycles work together. Understanding the why behind what you are observing.
Nutrition and integration
How nutrition supports your cycle across all four phases. Foods that nourish hormonal health, eating patterns that align with your luteal and follicular phases, and the daily practices that hold it all together. Integration of everything you have learned into a sustainable rhythm you can keep.

Why Julianna Stein teaches this way
Julianna Stein studied anthropology and education at UC Santa Barbara. Those two fields shaped everything about how she teaches fertility awareness today. Anthropology trained her to ask why certain knowledge is kept from certain people. Education trained her to teach it back in a way that actually stays.
She went on to certify through The Well School of Body Literacy under Sarah Bly, CNM, and accredit through the Association of Fertility Awareness Professionals. She has attended more than eighty births as a doula. She teaches the sympto-thermal method, grounded in evidence, free of religious framing.
This course reflects the education Julianna wishes she had received years before she found it. Not a charting tutorial. A full education in the body you live in, taught by someone trained in how people actually learn.
